Eigentlich handelt es sich bei diesem Heft um zwei Hefte…

Lassen Sie es mich kurz erläutern:
1952 veröffentlichte Tannen in New York das One Man Mental Magic Manuskript, das ziemlich schnell zu einem gesuchten Essay wurde. Als logische Konsequenz erschien dann zwei Jahre später das Heft More one man Mental Magic, das genauso gefragt wie das erste war.
Beide zusammengefasst ergeben das Heft, das ich Ihnen hier anbiete. Und wie Sie vielleicht wissen: Mentalmagie altert nicht.

Jedes Heft stellt ein eigenes, in sich strukturiertes, die Gesetze der Dramatik befolgendes Programm von ca. 20 – 30 Minuten dar.

Dieses Heft ist wahrlich viel mehr Wert, als es wirklich kostet.

Here is a complete, practical mental routine for the performer who works alone. It requires a minimum of effort, props and preparation. The objects used may be carried in a very small briefcase.

The tempo mounts as the act progresses. The first feat catches the audience’s attention immediately. The last test ends on a dramatic high note. The tests explained are simple in execution. You will note that this act ‘is many times more visual than the usual mental turn. Though the objects used are not bulky they can be seen even in a large hall or Theatre. No tests with billets are included. Those skeptics who think the spectator must write his thoughts before the mentalist can read them will be led astray by the subtleties of this routine.

The individual tests may be used separately, but in the sequence presented here they blend into a tight nit act. Many performers have several excellent mental tests, but they never succeed in routining them so that they may be offered with maximum effect.
